Pest control FAQs
What areas do you cover for commercial pest control?
We provide commercial pest control services from the Midlands to the South East of England, including Nottingham, Birmingham, Oxford, London, Norwich, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Southampton, Portsmouth and all surrounding areas. Our regional teams are based at depots in Surrey and South Oxfordshire, giving us rapid response capability across our coverage area.
We manage multi-site contracts across the full region, with a single point of contact and consistent service standards at every location. Contact us to confirm coverage for your sites.
How quickly can you respond to a pest emergency at our premises?
We offer same-day emergency response for urgent commercial pest issues. For contract clients, our response times are defined in your service level agreement — typically within 4 hours for critical situations such as rodent sightings in food production areas, bird ingress in warehouses, or pest activity ahead of a scheduled audit.
Non-emergency service visits are scheduled to suit your operational hours, including out-of-hours and weekend access where required. Call us on 0800 122 3376 for immediate assistance.
Do you offer one-off pest treatments or ongoing contracts?
Both. However, for commercial clients we strongly recommend an ongoing pest management contract. One-off treatments deal with the immediate problem, but a contract gives you scheduled preventative visits, digital reporting for audits, guaranteed response times and year-round protection — all of which are essential for regulatory compliance.
Our contracts are tailored to your site, sector and risk profile. Whether you manage a single office or a portfolio of 50+ properties, we build a programme that fits. Request a commercial survey to get a tailored proposal.
Is there a legal requirement for businesses to have pest control?
Yes. Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employers must maintain a safe working environment — which includes managing pest risks. The Food Safety Act 1990 and Food Hygiene Regulations require food businesses to have adequate pest control procedures, and Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) will check for evidence of a documented pest management programme during inspections.
Failure to comply can result in enforcement notices, fines of up to £20,000, closure orders, or even prosecution. Housing associations and care providers also have specific obligations under the Housing Act 2004 and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
A professional pest control contract with digital audit trails is the simplest way to demonstrate compliance. We provide full documentation that satisfies EHO, BRC, AIB and third-party auditor requirements.
What is Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and why does it matter?
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is the industry-standard approach that prioritises prevention, monitoring and proofing over reactive chemical treatments. Under tightening UK regulations — including the 2025 rodenticide stewardship restrictions — businesses are expected to demonstrate an IPM-first approach.
Our IPM programmes include:
- Site risk assessments identifying entry points, harbourage and attractants
- Proofing and exclusion work to physically prevent pest access
- Monitoring systems with digital tracking and trend analysis
- Targeted treatments using the minimum effective intervention
- Ongoing review with documented recommendations after every visit
This approach reduces chemical use, lowers long-term costs and satisfies the most demanding audit standards. It’s also what distinguishes a professional pest management provider from a reactive spray-and-pray service.
Can you provide pest control reports and documentation for audits?
Absolutely — and this is one of the biggest reasons commercial clients choose us over larger providers. Every visit generates a digital report through our bespoke reporting system, including:
- Detailed visit notes and findings
- Pest activity trends and risk ratings
- Recommendations and actions taken
- Photographic evidence where relevant
- Treatment records and COSHH data sheets
- Site maps showing monitoring points
Reports are available in real time through our client portal — no chasing paperwork, no waiting for end-of-month summaries. This documentation is specifically designed to satisfy BRC, AIB, EHO, CQC and other third-party audit requirements. Your facilities or compliance team can access everything they need, when they need it.
How much does a commercial pest control contract cost?
Commercial pest control contracts are priced based on your site size, sector, risk level, pest pressures and visit frequency — so there’s no one-size-fits-all figure. A small office might start from a few hundred pounds per year, while a multi-site food production contract will be significantly more.
What we can tell you is that we price competitively against the national providers, with none of the corporate overhead, call-centre delays or rigid contract structures. Every quote follows a free, no-obligation site survey where we assess your actual needs — not upsell services you don’t require.
Book a free commercial survey to get a transparent, itemised quote within 48 hours.
Can you manage pest control across multiple sites?
Yes. Multi-site pest management is one of our core strengths. We currently manage contracts for facilities management companies, housing associations and property portfolios with sites spread across the Midlands to the South East.
With a multi-site contract you get:
- One point of contact for all sites — no juggling multiple providers
- Consistent service standards and reporting across every location
- Centralised digital reporting so your compliance team has a single dashboard
- Flexible scheduling to match each site’s operational requirements
Consolidated invoicing to simplify your procurement process
Whether you have 5 sites or 500, we scale to fit. Get in touch to discuss your portfolio.
What happens if I'm not happy with the service or the pests come back?
Every treatment we carry out is backed by a satisfaction guarantee. If pest activity returns between scheduled visits, we’ll attend your site at no additional charge to investigate and re-treat as necessary.
For contract clients, guaranteed response times and re-treatment obligations are written into your service agreement — not just a vague promise. We also conduct regular service reviews to ensure the programme is delivering results and adapting to any changes on site.
We’re a BPCA-certified provider with accreditations including CHAS, Safe Contractor and SMAS — our reputation depends on getting it right.
Why should we switch from our current pest control provider?
If you’re experiencing any of the following, it’s worth talking to us:
- Slow response times or difficulty reaching your account manager
- Generic reports that don’t satisfy auditors
- Recurring pest issues that never seem to get resolved
- No proactive recommendations — just the same routine visit every time
- Price increases without any improvement in service
We regularly take over contracts from national providers where clients have felt like a number, not a priority. As a specialist commercial provider, you get direct access to your account manager, technicians who know your sites, and a reporting system built for compliance — not just box-ticking.
We’ll even conduct a free gap analysis of your current pest management programme before you commit. Request a review.
